Managing Director

The Managing Director is a retired Air Force officer, who has been in the solar business as a top manager prior to launching his own company in the solar business. He is a professional in HR, with exposure in a plethora of fields. He retired from SLAF in 2012, having performed his duties as an aeronautical engineering officer as well as a flight engineer. He was the first CEO of Qualitas (Pvt) Ltd, a manpower outsourcing company, which supplied manpower to a several leading organisations in Sri Lanka. Later took over the security contingent of European Union as the Head of Security of EU delegation of Sri Lanka and Maldives. His commitment to the company is formulating the cooperate strategy of marketing and sales.

KRISHAN MANOHARAN

Director/ Engineer

The Director is a BSc qualified electrical engineer, who has done his academics exceptionally well and excelled in many engineering practices and won awards for his electrical assignments and papers. He has represented University of Ruhuna in the international competitions and won awards. His research was awarded the IESL 2016 Best Research of the Year. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the solar business from designing to commissioning of solar panels arrays up to the magnitude of solar farms. He is currently reading for his Masters and will pursue his charter, upon completion of four years being a graduate. The Director’s function is to manage the engineering department and handle all operations of installations from the site visit to commissioning. Assisting the Chartered Engineer in designing the panel configuration of the system and drafting the schematic diagram are also vested with him.

WJH JAYASUNDARA

Chartered Engineer

The Chartered Engineer is a contractual employee of the company, who has over 30 years of hands-on working experience locally and overseas. His specialities are within MEP (HVAC), LV/ HV Power Systems, Fire, Solar Power and Communication industry on project infrastructure development. His role in the company involves in designing systems with the engineer and carrying out final inspection prior to certify and authenticate as a flawless installation.

HASANTHI PERERA

Accountant

An Australian qualified accountant in CPA, MA and CIMA, who resides in Australia, manages all accounts and related functions of the company. A dynamic lady, who has over 15 years of experience in the field, and having worked as a senior accountant in several companies in the past few years, now deputises at Sinhasolar while running her own catering outlet in Melbourne.
